Well, what do you know. I can be assertive after all.

I had a co-worker trying to pin the blame for her screw-up on me, and I actually didn't back down. I feel bad for what happened, but the truth is, she dropped the ball. It would have been nice if I had spotted the issue, but it was not my responsibility.

Weird.
